Quiet Records of Careful Work

Every engagement is held to the same standard. Full discretion, careful precision, and a result that holds once I have stepped away from it. Client names and identifying details stay between us, always. What you will find here is the nature of the work entrusted to me and the outcomes we were able to achieve together.

Payroll Operations Planning & risk Prevention

Major payroll decisions create long-term operational consequences.

Whether you are evaluating a payroll system, planning a PEO transition, preparing for an acquisition, or anticipating an audit, this is where we step back and assess the full picture before anything moves forward.

My role is to help organizations identify operational risk early, strengthen payroll operations, and create the structure needed to support growth, compliance, and business continuity.

What we walk through together:

• Payroll System Selection & PEO Evaluations

• Implementation Readiness & Operational Planning

• Mergers, Acquisitions & Audit Preparation

• Payroll Compliance & Risk Assessments

• Cross-Functional Alignment Across HR, Benefits, Legal & Finance

• Internal Controls & Operational Safeguards

The objective is simple: strengthen payroll operations before problems occur.

Payroll System Implementation Oversight

A successful implementation is more than a successful go-live.

The strongest payroll environments are the ones that were prepared carefully from the very beginning. When the groundwork is laid correctly, everything that follows has a stronger foundation. When it is not, the impact often appears later through payroll inaccuracies, tax discrepancies, reporting challenges, reconciliation concerns, and increased administrative burden.

That is where I step in.

Working alongside payroll teams, implementation partners, and key stakeholders, I help identify what is not functioning as intended, strengthen payroll operations, and restore confidence in the payroll environment.

What we walk through together:

• Payroll Configuration Reviews

• GL Mapping Validation

• Payroll Tax Jurisdiction Alignment

• Cross-Functional Process Reviews

• Post-Go-Live Stabilization & Support

• Operational Risk Assessments

The goal is not simply a live system.

The goal is a payroll operation that supports the business long after implementation is complete.

Payroll Tax & Compliance remediation

You received a notice and your instinct is to pay it.

Something about it feels off.

That instinct is often what creates the problem.

Before responding or remitting a single dollar, we sit with it together. We read it carefully, understand what it is actually telling us, and determine the appropriate path forward.

From there, we evaluate the full picture of what was filed, what was remitted, and where the issue originated. Then we correct it, document it, and close it out properly.

Your prior periods may have drifted and you are not sure where the divergence began. We trace it carefully, line by line, until we understand exactly what was filed, what was remitted, and where the liability actually sits.

A notice from a tax authority is not necessarily a bill.

It is information.

And without the right person helping interpret it, it is often handled incorrectly.

What we walk through together:

• Prior-Period Payroll Tax Reconciliation

• Payroll Tax Notice Review & Response

• Compliance Remediation

• Liability Identification & Documentation

• Tax Authority Coordination

• Payroll Tax Recovery Opportunities

The correction is deliberate.

The documentation is complete.

The resolution holds up to scrutiny long after the matter is closed.

The Conversation Starts Here

How We Begin Collaborating

My atelier is fractional and retained, shaped carefully around the unique operational realities each organization brings to the table. No two engagements look the same because no two organizations arrive with the same objectives, challenges, risks, or opportunities.

The Discovery Questionnaire is where we begin. Once I have reviewed what you share, we meet for a private conversation to discuss your goals, evaluate your current landscape, and determine whether we are the right fit to work together. From there, we define the scope, establish priorities, and create a path forward.

When you are ready, Your Discovery Questionnaire is open.”

Three pillars. one standard.

Every engagement begins somewhere different.

A transition that requires careful planning.

An operation that needs strengthening.

A problem that needs resolving.

Together, these three pillars form the foundation of my work: helping organizations reduce operational risk, create alignment, and strengthen payroll operations across HR, Benefits, Legal, and Finance.

The objective remains the same:

Build a payroll operation that supports the business, not disrupts it.
